A developing documentary project focused on the voices, memories, and lasting aftermath left behind after devastating flooding in North Carolina and Tennessee. Through interviews, landscapes, and personal stories, the project seeks to preserve the experiences of the communities forever changed by the water.

For Where the Water Reached: 21 Months Later, Asher Ryan Photography is seeking individuals, families and businesses from North Carolina and Tennessee who would like to share their experiences, memories, photographs, or videos connected to the hurricane Helene and its aftermath.
The goal of this project is to preserve personal stories with honesty, care, and respect while documenting the lasting impact on the communities affected.
